Strasbourg is a city located in the east of France on the left bank of the Rhine's river. It is the official city which have European & International Institutions: The European Council since 1949, the European Parliament since 1952 and the European Court of Human rights. The city has an important architectural heritage from various periods and different attractions for everyone. The pink Vosges Sandstone Cathedral is a real beauty.
Strasbourg is really near the border with Germany and offers a large variety of architectures on a flat ground. The old town has retained its narrow streets and medieval houses. There is the large german district, also called “Neustadt”, built from 1870 to 1914, North from Central Station to the German borders (wide, straight lines resulting into less populated areas, where the first buildings can be traced back the begining of the last century.
It is in this German area where the apartment is located. The building was built by the Architect Albert Adler in 1897 and is just near the Prefecture, the Academic Library, the National Theater and shops, well it is DOWNTOWN.
